Midwest Interventional Systems (MIS) is a contract design and development and contract manufacturer for minimally invasive based delivery systems. We design, develop, and manufacture custom medical device solutions.
MIS is located in the heart of Medical Alley in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
At MIS it all starts with an idea. You come to us with your device concept, whether it's a napkin sketch or a product you've already begun to develop. We're ready to help with our decades of experience. Our dedicated quoting team will take a close look at your idea or device, understand your critical design requirements and provide you with a detailed estimate to meet your product milestones. From there, we leverage our phase-based design control process to bring your device to market on a sustainable and scalable platform.

While it is common for both parties to sign an NDA before working together, it is not required. Our standard NDA is straight-forward and protects your information.
Yes, MIS does have a quality system! Quality is foundational to who we are as a company, and we pass quality down to every device that we design and manufacture under our roof. Our quality system is certified to ISO 13485:2016 and we thoroughly believe in strict design controls and good manufacturing and documentation policy.
When you request a quote from us, we get to work immediately. Our quoting team will look at your device and any prints you have included make sure that we have all of the information we need to give you an accurate and detailed estimate. Once we have all of the necessary information, we aim to have a quote in your inbox within 3 business days for complex systems. For simpler projects you can expect a quote even faster, and we typically quote all balloon and extrusion requests within 24 hours!

Yes! We do all of our medical device and catheter manufacturing right here in Maple Grove, MN. We have a dedicated manufacturing team in place to ensure the success of your device. We have experience in managing low-volume pilot production, as well as high-volume manufacturing.
